2029 David Whitaker from Atlanta, Georgia deserves more national recognition. He has a combination of size and skill that make him a stand out player. Whitaker can put the ball on the floor and gets to the rim effectively. He is a willing defender who dove on the floor for loose balls and hit the glass on both ends of the floor. The 6’0 seventh grader is already playing above the rim. He is a creative finisher, avoiding defenders with good body control in the air.
2029 King Smith from Minneapolis, Minnesota is a very aggressive guard who forces the action when he is on the court. Despite being 5’5 he made his presence felt on the offensive glass, getting put backs and cleaning up teammates misses. Smith is a rugged defender with skill on the offensive end. A very good combo of effort and execution.
Cody Rader 2029 from Geneva, Illinois showed off his balanced game on the offensive end. A true point guard, Cody got players involved who were unable to create on their own and knocked down three pointers when defenders sagged off to block passing lanes. Rader was great in transition and moved very well without the ball. He used pump fakes and his ball handling skill to evade defenders.
Mason Morris 2029 from Canton, Ohio is not afraid to get physical in the paint. The 6’3 seventh grader mixes it up on the boards and is an enthusiastic defender. Morris finishes through contact, is willing to set picks and make overall winning plays. Mason challenges every shot in his area, patrolling the paint with intensity.
Deloni Pughsley 2029 from Columbus, Ohio scores the ball at an alarming rate. He knocked down shots from well beyond NBA three point range, got into the paint consistently, and shook defenders who attempted to stay in front of him. Deloni got buckets from every possible angle, super impressive performance by a kid that everyone knows and wants to stop when he steps on the court.
James Millen 2029 from Cincinnati, Ohio hit a number of difficult shots off the dribble. Tough guard welcomes all challengers on offense and defense. Millen is a knock down three point shooter who is fearless no matter who he is matched up against. Gritty performance from a kid who has consistently improved over the last 3 years.
